Despite the many wonderful features that are available on new generation mobile phones these days, for me you just can’t beat the original basic function of how to text message, not just that but on an old phone that you just can’t throw away like a kid with an old toy.
I have a new generation iPhone and I love the fact that it doubles as an a music player, gives me internet access when ever and where ever that I need it, can stream videos and gives me navigation directions for my car to name just a few of the features that it boasts. However I have never quite got to grip with learning how to text message on it and often find myself putting my sim card back into my old school Samsung phone when I know I am going to be spending an evening sending a string of text messages.
It is different if I am out and about as my Samsung is a complete eyesore and embarrassment so it is left at home and the new phone is used more as a fashion accessory than anything else. But when I am sat at home I can’t help but go for comfort and the Samsung will win every time, it took me next to no time originally to learn how to text message on it and I can send messages much more quickly and fluently from it so I just can’t bring myself to throw it away just yet.
