I don’t get why the pictures I take using my camera phone are so grainy. I mean, I know that this is primarily a phone, and that I can’t expect it to be able to compete with full fledged digital cameras, but I expected way better performance than this. Could it be me? Is it something I’m doing? Then again, this make and model is supposed to be a pretty simple camera phone, so I don’t get the sense that I should be fiddling with any complicated settings. I really just expected it to take good pictures right out of the bat, but it isn’t.I took a look at the Sony Ericsson help website, where I basically tried to find an answer to why my camera phone might be performing this way, to no avail. There was a lot of general information there, but I couldn’t find anything to help me with my predicament. Could it be a fault within the phone itself? And if so, how do I know that that’s the reason? Sigh.In the end, I might end up having to call the Sony Ericsson support line, for assistance. I’m still hoping that that won’t be the case, but I’m not quite sure what else I can do at this point. Some of my friends tell me that I’m expecting too much from a mere camera phone, but I respond by pointing out that the reviews of this unit said that it took pretty good shots. In fact, I’ve seen some of the sample shots posted on line, so I know that this thing can do better. Now, if only I could figure out what exactly is wrong.
